HELEN & JUANA Understudy/ Choreographer — Frankie Anne
Frankie is a noted choreographer/producer in addition to her extensive
performance background. Her choreography credits include the national
commercial Lady Foot Locker, VH1’s Bubblegum To Babylon (Katie Cassidy),
Madonna Hosted AMFAR concert, Warner Bros. stage productions; Scooby
Doo, Cats & Dogs, and See Spot Run, the hit variety show (now in it’s
3rd year) Frankie’s Gypsy Roses , director/producer for the audio book
series The Confetti Kids narrated by Robert Guillaume and more. Frankie’s
acting credits include feature films National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze, Highland
Park Blues and Artie (also Produced); Television’s Strong Medicine,
Sunset Beach, Air America and as Janis in The Janis Joplin Story. Stage
and music credits include the national tours of Smokey Joes Café (Brenda),
West Side Story (Anita), Barbara Streisand’s Timeless tour, The Ellington
Orchestra and lead vocalist with Janis Joplin’s band Big Brother & The
Holding Company. As Producer/Actress she earned the LA Pick and critics
raves for the production The Vietnam Chronicles (Capt. Martha O’Neil)
and originated the role of Lulu Louise in the urban musical Twisted
(Ovation Nominee). Frankie’s passion for dance inspires her to pass
the baton to the dancer by instructing a musical theater workshop and
master classes (with an emphasis on Fosse styles) at Hama’s Dance Center
in Studio City. But her most rewarding credit however comes from the
blessing she receives from working with the inspiring athletes of the
Special Olympics and her effort to increase awareness and funds for
Breast Cancer Research.
Frankie thanks Ed and Rachelle for their trust in allowing her to create
with this team. “Thank you TEAM and all my guardian angels watching
over me.” |
